Meet our grantmaking partner!

The work of Parole Illinois and our fight for second chances wouldn’t be possible without the support of our partners. We’re grateful and humbled to count Circle for Justice Innovations (CJI) among the organizations that help sustain Parole Illinois and the Earned Reentry campaign.

Thanks to a generous grant from Circle for Justice Innovations, we can continue our efforts to educate and advocate for the need to restore discretionary parole in Illinois—one of just 16 states that does not offer parole review opportunities to the vast majority of incarcerated folks.

Circle for Justice Innovations is a national grantmaking collaborative made up of community organizers, activists, donors, and donor-activists. Through its Circles, CJI identifies, funds, and nurtures grassroots organizations led by people most impacted by the criminal legal system and working to transform it across the United States. Over the past two years, CJI has invested nearly $2 million in grants to more than 50 organizations nationwide.
